MVAH Partners & Omega CDC Receive Funding for New Development in Dayton, Ohio
Dayton, Ohio – The development team of MVAH Partners in partnership with Omega Community Development Corporation recently announced the award of funding for the construction of Omega Senior Lofts. The development is being funded by The Ohio Housing Finance Agency using Housing Tax Credits.
Omega Senior Lofts, located at 1810 Harvard Boulevard, in Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio., will serve adults 55 and over who desire high-quality, affordable rental housing. The 81 unit community will include a mix of one and two bedroom apartment homes complete with energy-efficient features and a multitude of amenities normally found in luxury communities. However, rents will be set at affordable rates.

President of Omega CDC, Vanessa Ward, stated, "The Omega CDC is excited to be in partnership with MVAH Partners to see to fruition a vision for redevelopment in the northwest region of the city. As part of a master plan for development of the 30-acre campus that was formerly the property of United Theological Seminary, a high-quality senior housing facility has been envisioned for this neighborhood since 2012. We look forward to working with MVAH, the City of Dayton, and the community to finally see this project realized."
